We will also have prepared for you a beautiful banquet—so you can count on feeling special and pampered. Saturday morning, you will glean things so you can take this back to your church and keep what you have received. We want ministers’ wives and seasoned saints to have the confidence that they can indeed help those ladies in their churches--ladies they might have felt like giving up on.
Sister Doty says, “I followed this format at another conference (where the idea for this was first born). God had let me see in the spirit, a field of wheat. A gentle breeze started blowing from the left side and as it passed over, all the wheat was bent over, like a giant wave. What was so wonderful was that it happened just that way at that meeting. The ladies were all standing, then slowly, like a giant wave, dropped to their knees as the Holy Ghost passed over. It looked just like that wheat field He had shown me! This is my vision for each Help Me Heal Conference. I've seen it for our ladies from the very first. It will happen! I long to see these same women return to their home churches healed and whole, and bringing it back with them to the ladies in their churches. How many of our altars are filled with the wounded tending the wounded? Small wonder we have such a 'revolving door' effect in many of our churches!”
